We are looking to purchase 20000 kilograms of Arabica green coffee beans under CIF terms with delivery to Algiers Port in Algeria. We require one 20 foot container with approximately 20 metric tons of green Arabica coffee loaded from Mombasa Port for sea transportation to Algeria. The coffee should meet recognized international quality standards and be suitable for commercial roasting and distribution. We are interested in suppliers capable of providing consistent quality, reliable supply, and properly processed and packaged green coffee beans for international shipment. Suppliers should provide detailed product specifications, coffee grade, origin information, packaging options, available quantity, and relevant quality certifications for evaluation. We are looking for competitive pricing, dependable export logistics, and efficient shipment arrangements to support this purchase and potential future orders. Please send your best CIF quotation, product specifications, available quantities, packaging details, shipment schedule, and any additional information that may support a successful long term business relationship.
Arabica green coffee beans are unroasted coffee beans widely traded in the global agricultural and specialty coffee markets. They are valued for their complex flavor potential, pleasant aroma, balanced acidity, and diverse origin characteristics. Green Arabica beans are primarily purchased by coffee roasters, specialty coffee companies, beverage manufacturers, wholesalers, importers, and distributors for roasting and further processing.
Commercial Arabica green coffee beans are available in numerous grades based on origin, variety, processing method, bean size, density, defect count, and cup quality. Common categories include washed Arabica, natural processed Arabica, honey processed Arabica, single origin coffee, specialty grade coffee, commercial grade coffee, organic Arabica, and fair trade coffee. Buyers may specify screen size such as 15, 16, 17, or 18, along with moisture, defect limits, and cup profile. Uniform bean size, clean cup characteristics, low defect levels, and consistent moisture are important quality factors.
Arabica coffee is cultivated mainly in high altitude tropical regions with suitable rainfall, temperature, and soil conditions. Major producing countries include Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, Honduras, Peru, Guatemala, Mexico, Kenya, Costa Rica, and Rwanda. After harvesting, coffee cherries are processed using washed, natural, or honey methods before drying, hulling, grading, sorting, and export preparation.
Standard commercial specifications generally include moisture content around 10 percent to 12 percent, controlled defect levels, and consistent bean size according to the selected grade. High quality green Arabica beans should have a clean appearance, characteristic fresh coffee aroma, uniform color and density, and be free from mold, insects, foreign matter, excessive broken beans, and abnormal odors. Commercial specifications may also define screen size, cup score, altitude, processing method, defect count, water activity, pesticide residue limits, and compliance with applicable food safety standards.
Green Arabica coffee beans are commonly packed in jute or burlap bags, GrainPro lined bags, vacuum packaging, kraft bags, or customized export sacks. Standard commercial packaging commonly includes 30 kg, 60 kg, and 69 kg bags, depending on origin and buyer requirements. International shipments are transported in clean, dry containers with moisture protection to preserve bean quality during storage and transportation.
